Slight improvements and a redesigned site at AuctionAds
AuctionAds has just introduced a complete site redesign. The new look is more “web 2.0″. Aside from the new look, which is really not what I care about, AuctionAds also introduced a new optional ad design (see image). Here again they are going after that “web 2.0″ look. In this case you can not pick from the usual ad sizes and the color scheme is limited to five options, which could make blending the ads into websites more tricky, but the overall design is more appealing.
A more significant improvement is the fact that they will optimize the ad images from the ebay auctions. This should increase click-thru rates and hopefully lead to higher earnings. In another significant improvement, they have also double the size of their hardware infrastructure to eliminate the significant downtimes we were seeing. This improvement will also increase the load times of the ads.
While solving the ad serving issues is very welcome, I would have liked to see them mention improvements with tracking, since they are clearly having issues with this, much more than most people think. There was also no word as far as tracking affiliate revenue, or for that matter any other kind of affiliate statistics. The only thing I know is a have referred about 47 publishers.
Hopefully we will see more improvements soon. If you haven´t yet signed-up, you can do it here.

Personally I would like to see affiliate information also. I have 10 affiliates and I have no clue as to what is happening with them…
